2007 Officer Installation

Scituate American Legion Post 144 Officer Installation 2007

This ceremony and dinner was held on July 25th at the Scituate restaurant 'On the Water' which was the old Pier 44.
The social hour started at 6 PM. After the installation, dinner was served which was very very good!
The webmaster liked the chicken so much that he went back for seconds. I think you will very much enjoy
'On the Water'.
Installing the officers was August Silva The current District Ten Senior Vice Commander.
Also present was Frank MacDonald - The current Department Vice Commander.
Rashid Yaskin - Scituate High School student - 2007 Boys State participant and Mary Beth O'Sullivan..
Outreach Advisor--- MA Upword Bound also attended.

Assuming Command. Conley receiving a gift from the Post for all his hard
work. Conley will always have a warm spot in our
hearts for starting the Post.

A good natured Conley accepts a 'tongue in cheek' gift from his men.
A helmut planter complete with marigolds. Ken Elliot was recognized for his work with a life time membership in the
American Legion as was Lou Vanderstreet and Franny Litchfield.
